Summary of stainless steel bearing seat manufacturers: Bearing is the main component of the machine, and whether the machine operates flexibly mainly depends on the assembly quality of stainless steel bearings. To ensure assembly quality, it is necessary to master disassembly methods.

1、 Disassembly of bearings

1. Removal of sliding bearing and bearing shell

The arm of a sliding bearing is generally thin and prone to damage and strain. When disassembling, first remove the fixing screws and pins around the bearings. For bearings with locating flanges, pay attention to the removal direction after separating the stainless steel bearing cover from the bearing seat. When disassembling the tiles, use a copper or wooden rod to support the steel back of the bearing pad end face, and pay attention to protecting the alloy layer. Sleeve type bearing shells should be extracted or pressed out using disassembly tools, and should not be violently knocked to avoid causing deformation and damage to the bearing shells.

2. Removal of rolling bearing

Before disassembling the rolling bearing, it is necessary to check and determine the disassembly direction, and pay attention to the presence of axial positioning devices. When disassembling the bearing from the shaft, the stress point should be selected on the inner ring of the bearing; When disassembling from the hole, the force bearing point should be selected on the outer ring of the bearing, and the force should be uniform during disassembly to prevent the bearing from tilting.

2、 Installation of bearings

Installation of sleeve type sliding bearing

Ensure proper clearance between the shaft and the bearing during installation to facilitate the formation of a lubricating oil film. The bearing and seat hole should have an appropriate tightness to prevent the bearing from rotating with the shaft during operation. The specific requirements are as follows:

① Before pressing, check whether the dimensions of each part of the bearing meet the requirements and whether there are defects. Clean the dirt on the contact surface, apply lubricating oil, clean the oil passage, and align it with the oil passage hole on the body.

② According to the position of the stainless steel bearing on the machine body and the size of the bearing, select appropriate tools during installation.

③ After the bearing is press-fitted, fixed screws or pins should be added to the non interference fit parts, and the inner diameter should be checked to see if it meets the requirements. If deformation occurs, it must be repaired, generally using the methods of boring, reaming, and scraping.

Installation of split sliding bearing

① Split sliding bearings are commonly referred to as bearing shells. Before installation, clean the oil passages, oil grooves, and mating surfaces, and check whether the oil holes on the bearing pedestal and bearing shells are facing each other. Pay attention to removing the rust preventive wax from the bearing bush, and do not burn it with fire to avoid melting the metal due to excessive temperature. Instead, melt it in hot water or hot oil and clean it up.

② During the installation of bearing pads, a wooden board should be placed on the end face of the bearing pad, and then a copper rod should be used to gently hit the pad into the pad seat. The outer surface of the bearing pad should be tightly bonded with the bearing seat and cover, otherwise the bearing pad is prone to deformation, or the alloy layer may break or even fall off. To ensure a tight fit of the bearing pads, the separation surface should be a bit higher than the bearing separation surface (typically 0.05 to 0. mm).

③ The bearing bush is installed into the machine body without axial or radial movement, and is generally fixed with positioning pins, male key stops, or steps. The assembly contact surface of the bearing bush is required to be between 70% and 75%.

Installation of rolling bearing

① Before installation, it is necessary to clean the raceway and oil passage of the shaft hole of the stainless steel bearing, and the bearing to be lubricated should be coated with lubricating oil.

② During installation, dirt should not fall into the bearing ring to avoid damaging the rolling body and surface.

③ Check whether the fit interference of the inner and outer rings of the bearing meets the standards as required.

④ When installing and using special tools, pressure should be applied to the seat ring with a tight mating surface, and the applied force should be uniform to prevent the bearing from tilting.

⑤ When installing stainless steel bearings with large interference, they should not be violently knocked, but should be assembled using a press or heating method.

⑥ After the installation of the bearing, check whether its end face is tightly attached to the bearing surface of the shaft or seat shoulder, whether it rotates flexibly, and whether it is stuck

The above is about the removal and installation of stainless steel bearings related knowledge, hoping to help everyone.
