(24) The casting characters and marks on the non machined surface of the casting shall be clear and identifiable, and the position and font shall meet the requirements of the drawing.

(25) Castings shall be cleaned of risers, flying burrs, etc. The residual amount of the sprue and riser on the non machined surface should be spaded and polished to meet the surface quality requirements.

(26) The molding sand, core sand, and core bone on the casting should be cleaned.

(27) For inclined parts of the casting, the dimensional tolerance zone shall be symmetrically arranged along the inclined surface.

(28) Misalignment and convex casting deviation should be corrected to achieve a smooth transition and ensure appearance quality.

(29) The non machined surfaces of machine product castings require shot peening or roller treatment to meet the requirements of cleanliness Sa2/2.

(30) The surface of the casting should be flat, and the gates, burrs, and sand adhering should be cleaned.
